Welcome to PawJourney. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. "PawJourney", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the service that provides the PawJourney website and the PawJourney iOS app, and we are the party responsible for your personal information. 1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Account Information: When you sign up using Google, Apple, or email, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture. This information is used to identify your account and personalize your experience.
Content You Upload: Pet photos you upload are processed for AI image generation. We do not permanently store your original uploaded images — only a cryptographic hash is retained for record-keeping purposes and cannot be used to reconstruct the original image.
Generated Content: AI-generated images are stored on our servers for 24 hours to allow you to download them. They are automatically deleted after this period.
Usage Data: We maintain records of your generation history, point transactions, sign-in history, and payment records.
Technical Information: Browser type, access times, IP addresses, approximate country/region/city derived from IP address, and related request metadata may be logged for security, fraud prevention, service diagnostics, and reliability purposes. This data is limited to authorized operations and support use.
Payment Information: We do not store or process full credit card details. Credit purchases made inside the iOS app are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase and are governed by Apple's privacy policy; we do not receive your card details. The web version of PawJourney does not currently offer purchasing.

To authenticate users and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized admin access, and account misuse
To diagnose errors, investigate service incidents, and improve reliability using limited technical logs

To send service-related notifications (e.g., payment confirmations)

Important: We do not use your uploaded pet photos or generated images to train our AI models, nor do we share them with third parties for training purposes.

3. Data Retention

Account Information: Retained until you request account deletion.
Uploaded Pet Photos: Original images are not permanently stored. We process your images only for the immediate generation request. A cryptographic hash is stored for record-keeping but cannot be used to recover the original image.
Generated Images: Stored on our servers for 24 hours from creation, then automatically deleted. Please download images you wish to keep within this window.
Transaction and Payment Records: Retained for as long as reasonably required for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution purposes, and as required by applicable law.
Log and Technical Data: IP addresses, approximate location derived from IP, browser/request metadata, and access logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and operations, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse or comply with law.

4. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with the following third-party providers, each of which operates under their own privacy policies:

Firebase Auth: User authentication services, provided by Google
Apple In-App Purchase: Payment processing for credit purchases made inside the iOS app
AI Generation Services: Third-party AI providers process your images to fulfill generation requests. Images are processed only for the immediate request and are not stored or used for model training.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session state and keep you logged in. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tracking technologies, and we do not share your browsing behavior with advertisers.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and personal data
Request export of your data in a machine-readable format
Restrict or object to certain processing activities

Delete your account yourself: you can delete your account at any time from inside the app or on the website — go to your Profile page, choose Delete Account, and confirm. The deletion is processed immediately and no longer requires contacting us. To exercise any of the other rights above, or if you cannot access your account, contact us at support@pawjourney.fun. We will respond to valid requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is accessible to users of all ages. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
