Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PawJourney. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

PawJourney provides AI-powered pet travel photo generation services. Users can:

• Upload photos of their pets
• Select travel destinations
• Generate AI-created images of their pets in those destinations
• Download generated images within 24 hours of creation

Our service operates on a credit system: each generation consumes credits, which can be earned through daily sign-ins, social sharing, or purchased.

2. Account Registration and Security

• You must create an account to use the full features of our service
• You can sign up using Google, Apple, or email with password
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

3. Credit Policy

• New users receive 80 initial credits upon registration
• Daily sign-in bonus: +20 credits per day
• Additional credits may be earned through social sharing features
• Each AI generation consumes credits based on the selected destination
• If generation fails due to service errors or network issues, deducted credits will be automatically refunded
• Credits do not expire
• Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights, or is illegal, obscene, offensive, or violates the rights of any third party
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Access or attempt to access accounts not intended for you
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to the service
• Engage in automated bulk generation, credit farming, or exploitation of service vulnerabilities
• Resell, transfer, or broker credits or accounts
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our explicit written consent

Violations may result in credit forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent ban.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

• You retain all intellectual property rights to the pet photos you upload
• You are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive license to use the images you generate through our service for personal use (social media, personal printing, etc.)
• For commercial use rights, please contact us for licensing options
• You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload
• PawJourney retains all rights to the service interface, software, trademarks, and underlying technology

Important Note: Generated images are available for download for only 24 hours after creation. Please save any images you wish to keep to your own device within this window.

Image Processing: Original uploaded photos are not permanently stored on our servers. We process images only for the immediate generation request. A cryptographic hash is stored for record-keeping but cannot be used to recover the original image.

6. AI Generation Disclaimer

Important Notice Regarding AI Output:

• AI-generated images are produced algorithmically and may contain imperfections, artifacts, or unexpected results
• We do not guarantee that generated images will meet your specific expectations or requirements
• If you are unsatisfied with a generation result, you may retry with the same or different parameters, but consumed credits will not be refunded (except in cases of clear service failure)
• Output quality may vary based on input image quality, lighting, subject matter, and destination selection
• Generated images are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

7. Service Availability and Modifications

• We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access.
• We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any features of the service at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
• We may suspend service for maintenance, upgrades, or emergency issues without prior notice.
• We are not liable for any damages arising from service interruptions, modifications, or discontinuance.
• We reserve the right to limit or throttle service usage at our discretion to ensure fair access for all users.
• We may change credit pricing, generation costs, or credit package offerings at any time without prior notice. New pricing applies only to purchases made after the change takes effect.
• We may adjust credit earning rates for sign-in bonuses and social sharing at our sole discretion.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We're a small service providing fun AI pet photos, and we want to be straightforward about what you can expect:

• Our service is provided "as is" — we don't make fancy promises about uptime, error-free operation, or the quality of AI outputs.
• AI generation is inherently unpredictable. Results may vary in quality and may not always meet your expectations. We don't offer refunds for unsatisfactory results.
• We're not liable for any indirect or consequential losses from using our service — things like lost profits, data loss, or general inconvenience.
• Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at $100 USD or the amount you've paid us in the last 30 days, whichever is lower.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or things we can't legally exclude under applicable law.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated.
• Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under its Administered Arbitration Rules in effect at the time the arbitration is initiated.
• The seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong.
• The language of arbitration shall be English.
• The number of arbitrators shall be one.
• The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.

10. Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at support@pawjourney.fun. We will process valid requests within 15 business days. Upon account deletion:

• Your personal information will be removed or anonymized
• Unused credits are forfeited and cannot be recovered, refunded, or transferred
• Generated images associated with your account will no longer be accessible

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
